The Power Play Team
After more than twenty years in accounting and finance leadership, I launched Power Play CPA Services to help organizations do more of what they love by doing what I love.
I currently serve as the Associate Athletic Director of Finance for The Ohio State University Department of Athletics and previously held leadership roles with the Columbus Blue Jackets and across corporate finance and controller positions. Throughout my career, I discovered that what I enjoy most is building lasting relationships and using my accounting expertise to help organizations make confident, informed decisions.
My passion for community runs deep. Over the years, I have rescued several furkids and volunteered with local pet shelters, giving me firsthand insight into the challenges animal rescues face every day. I have also dedicated countless hours to youth sports organizations, including helping establish the 501(c)(3) status for the Canal Winchester Lacrosse Association, managing jerseys and senior night for the Prowler Hockey Association, serving as treasurer for Easton Youth Hockey Association, and volunteering with the Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation.
Much of that passion comes from my experience as a hockey mom. My son, Christian, who is also my partner in building Power Play CPA Services, played travel hockey for years. Balancing practices, tournaments, volunteer roles, and a full-time leadership career taught me the importance of organization, flexibility, and strong community support. Those experiences shaped my understanding of youth sports organizations and inspired my desire to help them thrive financially.
Power Play CPA Services was created for organizations just like these. Mission driven, community centered, and often stretched thin. I wanted to bring the strategic guidance, financial clarity, and operational structure I have built throughout my career to the groups that need it most. We are here to help your organization stay organized, compliant, and ready for growth.
